Part of being a pragmatist is being practical.

Building a wall is as impractical a platform plank as I've ever seen

Well enforcing our immigration laws seems practical. And yet, we don't.

We could easily build a fricking wall if we had the political will.

Left wingnuts talk about all 18 wheelers being automated in 10 years but we can't do what China did hundreds of years ago

Which part, really? The analogy, or the comment about it would be wise to be more professional when running for office? (Like a job interview as the other poster likened it to)

Bear in mind, it's likely going to be a close race, like Bush/Gore in 2000, & both sides would be better served reigning in the fanatical sides of their bases, because the independent voters will likely decide the election.

Right now, this election seems to be bringing out the worst in people, but then again, maybe that's par for the course on election years. It's a turn off though, for sure. A lot of solid ideas will probably fall on a few deaf ears because how the information is presented to the public.

Y'all give him passes for prepubescent insults and outright lies. This is serious business for fricks sake.

This isn't a thread about college football.

We talk about other things here.

Maybe you'd be better served sticking to the rant?

What, no safe space bed wetter, Sander supporters disrupting Trump rally thread?

So they're "safe space bed wetter(s)" - ie - pussies.

But they're going and "disrupting" trump rallies - ie - starting "riots." While you sit behind a screen doing nothing...

So which is it? Are they in need of a safe space where they're protected from violence (like you are right now) or are they the big bad boogy men who go and start fights at political rallies (the ones you're too pussy to attend).

But this is a post about politics. If only there was a board that has non-stop Trump threads where you could post this.

The point is, he treats the campaign like an entertainment show, & not professionally like you would hope a president would be that is dealing with sophisticated adversaries in other countries who are easily offended.

There is absolutely nothing "professional" about politics.

Its the NBA playoffs, I don't give a frick about Trump. I had the news on this morning and saw some shite about riots.. And the way he acts when people protest inside of his rallies. If he can't control himself and be "diplomatic" in those situations, how do people expect that clown to run this country?

Also, I wish he would stop with that whole "everything I will do will be great and the best ever.. I mean I scammed a lot of people for their money before, I am sure I can convince these idiots to vote for me for president".

Rookie mistake, trying to use facts in a political thread. Neither side cares.

Actually, it was a thread about the joy of watching people riot.

But, the cops cockblocked it. Cleveland is going to be pretty great, though. I don't think there can be any doubt about that now.
