Arkansas? Texas? Mississippi? Or florida?

Wanted to kayak on a scenic place but I'm scared of driving 8 hours

You can whitewater kayak below Toledo Bend dam when they're releasing water.

I love the cypress trees and mossy views, but I want something different. Sandbars and crystal blue waters . Stuff I've seen in idaho , oregon. Etc

I would love to try arkansas buffalo river

no.

It's really more floating than white water.

Texas has some really awesome floating spots on the Guadalupe River and San Marcos River.

Only problem with North Arkansas is its 8+ hours away. Unless ole boy lives in Shreveport. Apparently he doesn’t want to do distance

Jackson is always fun. Just don't stay out after dark. Daytime not all safe either.

So where is the nearest decent white water rafting? Ever since we went in Colorado, I’ve wanted to do it again.
