I would guess roughly the same that has been forecasted since forecasts were forecast...

Fall is expected to not be as hot as summer, with things cooling off a little more for winter.

I'm hoping for a non meteorologist to chime in so we can get an accurate forecast.

According to the old timers when a fig checks the Farmer's Almanac on August the 8th we're in for a mild winter.

Where do you live?

I've read the stars for Birmingham, AL:

- Fall will feature warm temperatures at the start (9/21). Highs around 85 with lows dipping into the cool upper 60s. Occasional days of perfect weather with low humidity, highs around 72, and lows in the upper 50s can be expected up until Halloween. Slight chance of breaking 90 a few times. November will start to cool into the 70s with occasional cool spells into the lower 60s/upper 50s. Lows might reach into the 40s but most likely not. It will rain a little more in November with oncoming grey clouds. Slight chance of the season's first freeze in early December.

- Winter will be moderate and pleasant for the most part. Highs will be in the 50s and lower 60s from Christmas until March 1st. Occasional warm spells into the lower 70s. Good chance of a snow fall or ice storm and a few cold fronts will bring temperatures into the upper 30s/lower 40s for the highs and the lows into the 20s. A few nights of sub-20 temperatures. Anyone who has lived up North will feel like the Winter weather this year will be paradise compared to constant snow, clouds, freezing rain, bad driving conditions, and dangerous temperatures they get north of the Mason-Dixon line.

In other words, same weather as every year.
