No where with anyone that actually knows how lucky we are to live here and not some other shite hole country . This country is as free as it gets in the world right now.
Do we have room to grow yes.
Do we have room to grow yes.

You should take your own advice. This is the country you live in now, bub. I hate to break it to you, but it’s highly unlikely things will regress to previous antiquated ways of living.

Sounds like you don't like our constitutional right of free speech so maybe you should leave.

I woke up every morning and saluted the flag for ten years so I'm always gonna stand. Do what you want it's a free country but I don't have to watch it either.

Take a page from college playbook
Here’s a concept:
Everyone listen closely..............
Sing the national anthem while teams are in The locker room!
Problem solved!

Good for you, OP. We all have a right to our opinions.
Personally, I never really saw the national anthem or flag as being symbolic of the military. Even before Kap first kneeled, that has never been a connection I made. I can respect in Brees' original statement in how he is oftentimes brought to tears during the anthem as he reflects. For myself, I have never thought of my family members during the anthem, and I'm normally standing there daydreaming and patiently waiting for it to be over so the game can start.
I can respect your strong connection that you have to the flag. Just also understand not everyone shares that same connection.

I think you misunderstood my post just like most left thinking individuals. All I did in my original post if you actually notice is make my “opinion” known for the reason why I stand up for the flag and you are suggesting I said everyone is wrong for kneeling.
You have proved my point. Thank you sir

I thought that JJ was a leader and not a follower.
