68 of dry heater heat is hot. Especially if it was running or just kicked on. I personally run cold, but in my house I do not want it toasty. Yesterday it was on 66 when we got home, dropped to 64 at night. Just enough to get the chill out. If you're cold, throw a blanket on or a hoodie.

68. But it’s also 8 degrees outside, so I’m enjoying it

upstairs and basement 66; first floor zones range from 58-70. I have oil for heat in a big house so I have a lot of zones.

70
Rather, I do not run anything during the day typically. In the summer I'll have the AC set to kick in at around 79/80 so it's not absolutely steaming when I get home.
But winter, I'll just leave it set to cool at 79 so when I get home it's usually 64 or so. Then I will gradually warm it up to 70.

upstairs, off. no one sleeps up there.
down, 68 for 2 hrs in the am and 4 hrs in the evening.
otherwise, 64.
Sat and Sun a little different schedule but more or less the same.

65 at night in the winter, 69 at night in the summer. I don't like to run either the heater or the AC that much during the day when we're at work. I have a toddler as well that doesn't really sleep under covers. It gets in the low 60's in that room at night according to the baby monitor, so don't want to get any lower than that until the baby is older and in a real bed. Mrs. Low is also really cold natured and would look like an eskimo if I turned it any lower in the winter.

It ran for hours. Idk what he was trying to do. From what you’re saying he probably destroyed it.
