A bottle of wine is akin to what? 4-5 beers depending on ABV. If you spread it out over 3-4 hours and keep it under 4ish total bottles per week I'd say you're just fine.

I'll do it occasionally, but it's not common practice. Usually a glass or two will do

That's what I figured. My girlfriend drank an entire bottle of cranberry wine last night in the blink of an eye. I rolled my eyes and gave her a bit of a look to indicate that I thought it was a bit much.

She and I have gone back and forth about excessive drinking and I just wasn't sure if I was being too much of a conservative killjoy in this case.

How quickly was the wine downed? Cause you can slowly drink a bottle of wine on a night and be just fine. But you can also scarf down the entire bottle in 30 minutes and be pretty fricked up.

Within about two hours I think. It was definitely less than three.

Did you neglect any personal/familiar responsibilities you had Wednesday night?

Is your Thursday work suffering as a result?

If no, then who gives a shite?

I did consider that. It's not effecting her responsibilities whatsoever so that's why I figured I was probably overreacting.

I think most of it has to do with simple jealousy. I wake up to go to the gym around 6 a.m. before going to work, so I couldn't imagine being able to drink like that the night prior and still muster up the needed energy to start my day.

Dear baby Jesus, I will take the heat off of you. I drank a fifth of vodka last night while watching The Glades, by myself.

I was at work this morning at 7 am. I don't give two shits if it was excessive.

If I drink 2 bottles (I did it one time) I feel like beef jerky the next day.

pretty sure glassman drinks 2 to 3 bottles of wine a day with miller lite's in between

fricking drunk

don't judge, but I get some ok box wine and keep it in the fridge just so that I don't drink an entire bottle

no way I open a bottle and then leave it halfway for another night

3/4 of a bottle is perfect for me. When I drink a whole bottle myself I feel it the next day.
