I don't think I was ever turned down, but once stood up. One girl from Cedar Grove, Shreveport answered the phone, and I said, Hey, this is Jeffsdad. She says, who? I repeat and she repeats Who?, except a little louder. Repeated the third time (I don't catch on quickly), and she almost hollers, WHO? I finally get it and say, "jeffsdad, I sit in the back of English class, tall and ugly." She says, "O, yeah, I know who you are, you used to date so and so...…...you're not that...………...tall." (she was 5 foot 2, I'm 6 foot 2). After being completely humiliated, I manage to ask her out. Actually she was really nice.

I've been rejected so many times...
This girl just walked away from me when I asked where she is from .

I always did ok through school and college, surprisingly. (Down vote away losers)

But as an married adult, I was in Key West with some friends, without the Mrs (no pics). We were at some bar and everyone was having fun, throwing back the drinks, and hitting the dance floor with the ladies.

Now, I'm a faithful guy and I wasn't going to do anything but find a lady to hit the dance floor with. I scope the bar and see a OT 3 looking like she's having a miserable time with her OT 6 friends. I figure I'm going to make her night. I walked up to the table introduced myself, ignoring all the other hotter girls, and asked her to dance. She shot me down on my first attempt and I was incredulous enough that I tried again, turning the charm to 11. She shot me down a second time and it really tanked my night. It was hard to recover from.

They said in askwomen , that whoever rejects you just brings you closer to the one. My SO will be a former sorority star (sja or stm) who is in med school or engineering
