Might be worth a little more than you think

Not really, but it's not anywhere near accurate

Mine is probably undervalued by about 20% or more according to Zillow. They're about 250 sq short of the actual footage so that might have something to do with it.

Lunch tomorrow?

Sure. I'll have to mortgage the house to pay for it. L.A. lunch prices, ya know?

Says it's worth $225,480. Bought it in 2013 on a short sale at $183,000. Appraised at $210K when I bought it. I'd be tickled to actually get $210K or more when I try to sell in a few months.

My house that I sold (Nashville area) in 2013 when we moved here, I sold for $227,500. Zestimate says it's worth $337K now..............

Very good point. The comps (real sales comps, not Zillow comps) in my neighborhood have far inferior back yards. I’d put the Zillow estimate as the floor honestly.

I paid $167,000 for mine 14 years ago, Zillow says $452,000 now.

Location

My taxes also say $452,000 which has made my escrow go up way more than my paycheck.

My note has nearly doubled and I have a fixed % rate.

It's accurate for my house. Pretty much dead on. It was 10% below on my rental house when I sold it.

my friend that does appraisals says that it is usually accurate. Our house and neighborhood is a really weird market though. I hope it is worth as much as zillow says, but when we had it appraised for a refi it was 20% lower than what zillow said.

Mine says $1,035,000 on Zillow. Probably pretty close based on recent sales comps. California is crazy.

For sure, that's the only reason we bought as we know we will only be here 2-3 years. With the market still climbing though knew there was room for us to make a profit.
