Mid budget ensemble comedies: a genre hollywood basically stopped making entirely 10 years ago.

I really don't have a favorite, but if I had to pick a category I would go with both Drama and comedy, but true comedy movies seem to be a thing of the past. I think there were a few after this one, but when I think about the last truly funny movie I want to say it was maybe the Hangover.
In a truly funny movie you need to play on some stereotypes and that is now frowned upon.. There are series that do it to a degree, but the shite that passes off as comedy today is pitiful.
