And me. He was stationed in Korea at the time of the hatchet murders. He said things got pretty damn tense.

I used to like the old Huey... then when I was an ADFSCOORD for 2ID in Korea I spent a LOT of time riding around on the ADC(M)'S Command bird, a Blackhawk. The difference in power is mind boggling. So, the Blackhawk for me...

UH-1 Huey & the Chinook have always been my favorites in early 70's. The Huey saved a lot of lives and the Warrant Officers who flew them were the coolest of Commissioned Officers in the Army, not like the other shitheads.

Another helo I like. The MH-53 pave low. It's the same airframe as the Stallion but its avionics were outstanding for the time. They led in the apaches at low level at the outbreak of the Gulf War to take out Iraq's radar installations and was used to great success in CSAR missions.
