I find myself getting irrationally pissed off with this bullshite trend of people putting up Christmas decos already. Those people are fricking losers.

Just enjoy the moment. The shite goes by way too fast. I have no clue why people want to speed up time. Lack of perspective I guess....

So you hate people putting decorations up early because everything goes by too fast?

Honestly, I feel great and completely relaxed. My wife's entire family is out of town for Thanksgiving and my parents are 2,000 miles away, so we are going to spend it in Kauai. Then, for Christmas, my wife's monster sized family due to multiple trashy divorces, decided to just draw names last year for presents so it was a breeze. The only person we have to worry about is our son, who already circled 90% of the Amazon toy catalog that came in the mail so there is no guess work there.

Best holiday vs worst holiday. It was cool when my daughter was young and I still like to see her surprise, but even she is like, “this is kinda bullshite”.

Yep. Put your fall stuff up. Then, the weekend after Thanksgiving, put your Christmas stuff up like a normal person.

They are putting them up now exactly because the time between Thanksgiving and Christmas passes so quickly

Thanksgiving is a whole holiday by itself. It's not to be overlooked.

I wonder how many people even know why we celebrate it anymore.
