utside of Saturdays in the fall, ULL is a very fun school.
what's wrong with ULL gamedays? I genuinely asking as I've never been to one.

I was thinking about going to the ULL vs Tech game next year because we don't have a game and have a few friends in Laffy.

Bama can be very racist. And this kid was a national merit scholar. He must have money bc he went to CHS. If I had his money and stats, Bama would be the LAST on my list. I believe this guy got accepted to Emory too, but Emory is expensive.

They're fun, but if you're used to LSU gameday, you're going to be very disappointed. It's fun, but it's just a completely different animal.

Is that why you called him an "oreo"? What a douchebag-arse statement.

exactly. So Alabama's the racist when you're basically saying he's "not really black" because he is a high academic achiever. Racist POS.

It just seems like Baton Rouge has all of the problems of a large major city with few of the benefits and most of the shortcomings of a small city. It's kinda like the worst of both worlds

really really is, i love louisiana and always will, south louisiana to be specific, for the cooking, culture, my family, awesome fishing.....but specifically BR doesn't hold itself that dear in my heart

This. As I've gotten older, I've started to subscribe to a theory I used scoff at. If LSU was in Lafayette, it'd be one of the best small cities in the country. The only issues lafayette has is Guidos (BR has them too, albeit in smaller numbers) and traffic (BR is much worse in this regard). Lafayette is tops for much everything else outside of their resident state universities.

No, I went to BRMHS, I know a lot of smart black people. This kid was just very pretentious. He is a super version of Carlton. And he hated hanging out with black people.

Im sure ULL can be fun. heard a lot about Nite Town. But isn't Lafayette a step down from BR ?

What does this mean? It's a young, fairly liberal college atmosphere. I would say it's less racist than a lot of major cities throughout the country.

Or are you referring to something from 50 years ago?

ULL is a step down from LSU, but in no way is Lafayette a step down from Baton Rouge. Better food, better people, better traffic, better cops, better music, better nightlife, better schools, less crime, better Mardi Gras, hotter women (BR's best talent comes from out of state where Laffy's is all home grown), ect.

Do you all realize that BAMA is actually considered a good school academically? I transferred to BAMA from a top 10 Engineering school to finish my degree in Accounting. The Culverhouse School of Accounting is one of the best Undergraduate Programs in the Nation.

Statements like this are dumb and baseless. How exactly do you prove it?

Lafayette isn't that rasict for a small Louisana town actually. ULL also has less tools, but Lafayette as a whole has many douchebags. But I think youre wrong on some parts.

Go there and see for yourself. I thought the same until I went there and was like holy sh%t, those guys telling me that weren't kidding. All you have to is walk around. Baton Rouge has lots of hot girls...from Katy, Texas. When school's out, they all go home. In Lafayette, the attractive women actually live there and are from there.
