Thanks! I’ve never had a porch wren before. Looks like this bird likes to sleep in corners.

At first I thought, how the hell did a hedgehog get up there? What a neat little bird. I hope it keeps coming back to our porch.

It may be ready to nest nearby. They are extremely loud for their size, so you'll probably hear them.. This is a hungry baby from a few years ago.

Wrens are very fun to watch, make a charming whistling chirp, and are cute, harmless little birds. But they’ll nest in your hanging baskets, the glove box of your SxS, in your mower, or any other inconvenient place they can find.

Yep. A wren wants to be right on top of you, it seems. They will nest right near your door then fuss at you when you are coming and going.

I call them house wrens. I have to tussle with them every spring to keep them from nesting under my carport.
