He probably means public accounting firm. Half of the revenue or more at the Big4s I worked at came from non assurance (advisory) services.

Have you ever seen the movie "Carney" with Gary Busey? He plays a dunk tank guy. Paints his face and talks shite to the people throwing at the target. Pisses people off where they start throwing at him instead of the target.

as a teen I helped my uncle and cousins collect hay bales one summer. My skinny arse could barely left the bales. Most times took 2 of us. I would never have made it a a farmer.

I always liked hauling hay. I always worked with other school friends and while it was hard work, we also had a good time.

The only time I hated it was when we hauled some odd hybrid hay and the bales weighed about four times as much as the coastal Bermuda bales. I can't remember the name of the hybrid, but it was some type of sudangrass or sorghum hybrid.

Yeah, I found out how much fire ants love hay bales.

Grew up on a cotton farm so manual labor was just another part of life. Worst job situation was one summer during college. Signed up for a part time job at a local coop and worked in the feed mill mixing feed. I was taking classes so we agreed to 6-8 hours a day. First day was 13 hours. No big deal I thought as a coworker didn’t show up so I filled in. Next day was 14 hours as there was another no show. I gave it three more days and the hours didn’t change so I politely parted ways with them.

I'm old enough that fire ants weren't an issue (thankful for that).

A chicken snake would occasionally get baled or into a bale.

We hauled hay with a huge, really tough guy. He hoisted a bale over his head and a chicken snake plopped out on him. One of the guys yelled "water moccasin" and the guy ran off screaming. Thankfully, the guy thought it was funny and didn't whip the "water moccasin" guy's arse.
