I needed some aluminium plate. Not much. I took a road sign down and cut the edges off. I then put the road sign back. You can't even tell I did anything.

It's quite refreshing to do so right at daybreak. I am not hating at all.
One of the best things in life!!
At that time of the morning I have one eye open and don't have to be bothered to make sure it all makes it into the toilet.

It's a motorcycle, remember. There are rules.
Also, a rock from an 18 wheeler tire hitting you in the chest hurts. Hitting you in the eye might kill you at 80

If you have a full windshield you need a wiper.
And this 1000 gets hot a 9k rpm
Half windshield is 100% the way to go.

I have dual 12inch rad fans in the lower skid plates.
Silicone wrapped all coolant lines.
Short of relocating the rad to the rear (not an option) I'm stuck.
I run the rad fans when I get stuck in traffic. Otherwise, speed is your ally.
Eta: nice in the winter though.

You forget, my engine is behind me. Way behind me. Headers too. No heat from back there.
Heat is coming from transmission and radiator.
Modded trans for a cooler, but it only holds 150 degrees anyways.
The radiator uses the body as a channel and heat sink. Body is tested in wind tunnel to force air into intake.
Next trick, rad fans mounted in doors.
