Speeding in a modern vehicle isn't that dangerous. A modern sedan can stop at 85 in the same distance an older sedan stops at 55.
The issue is unsignaled aggressive lane changes.
Though I think people who over use their brakes are worse than speeders.
You know the ones who see a brake light a quarter mile a head and even though no one is within 200' of them in front, they hit their brakes.
This causes a brakelight chain and slows down traffic.
Also most forget that if you drive slower than the limit you need to be in the far right lane. The middle lane is for faster drivers and the left lane for passing. Yet so often I see slow arse cars go straight to the middle lane.

As long as people keep their distance, don’t make dumb lane changes, or do anything else stupid (like running lights or passing in the shoulder) I couldn’t give a shite less about what speed they go.
