Vermont is full of rednecks and hippies. No yuppies. Very very fww BMWs and Mercedes there. Connecticut has a few small ghettos, but by and large is VERY yuppy. The whole southern part of the state are young wealthy families that work in Manhattan and drive fancy cars.

Vermont way more granola than yuppie. It's a beautiful state with lots of small towns. Not where young people go to start their careers.
