Geographically would be Cusco, Peru. I think the most "southern" place would be Oak Alley being that it's an antebellum plantation with huge oak trees. You can't get much more "southern" than that. Savannah, GA comes to mind for their trees as well.

Let me just say that culturally, somewhere like West Memphis, Arkansas would take the cake. You simply cannot beat it on the trashy scale. If you want evidence, go watch the HBO series on the West Memphis 3.
