These and the NP were easily the biggest disappointment I've ever experienced in my travels...and I've been to HOA.

A good southern Appalachian tourist town that isn't kitschy as frick is Bryson City.

I can get on board with this, though I do love the Virgin Islands. I wasn’t all that impressed with Grand Cayman.
Yeah, it's not like it's terrible or anything. It's just all so...similar.

Some family members stopped there for a 2 days/1 night on a road trip and said it was the biggest collection of fat people they had ever seen

St. John is a gem and provides very easy access to the BVI.

St. Thomas and St. Croix? Yeah, they can keep them. I will say that St. Croix has a solid restaurant scene. Plus there's the beer drinking pigs at the top of the mountain in the rain forest.

I go through your neck of the woods every now and then, but generally I don't stop between Butte and Whitefish. Anything I'm missing as far as food or bars?

There's another beach on Key West but unless you stay at a certain hotel it is no bueno

There was a clothing optional beach in KW when I went years ago. Not sure if it’s still there.

Agree on St. John. Lovely island. St. Thomas is only good for getting on the ferry over to St. John.

I like Loula's for breakfast and Buffalo for burgers.

Tupelo is pretty good for southerners, but keep in mind I'm a no good Yankee originally from Ohio, so what the frick do I know about good Cajun food.

Oh, and bars...there's nothing like you see in Bozeman or even Missoula that I've found.

I'll give it a try. There's a lunchtime Cajun place in Bozeman and a BBQ spot in Four Corners/Gallatin Gateway that don't offend me, but that's about it.

I tried a BBQ place in Livingston run by Cambodians or some shite and I wanted to die. Heard there's a good spot down in Pray in Paradise Valley but haven't tried it yet.

We don't really go to Bozeman area much anymore. Used to love going down and staying at the springs, shopping, hitting the bars, etc., but it's changed a lot in just the last few years.
