I had a car that the battery was in the worst place imagineable. It was in an area in front of the tire and the only access was to pull the driver's front tire off.
Whoever designed that crap ... needs to go behind the woodshed for a good old fashioned arse kicking.
Think it was on a Chrysler Sebring but not 100% sure.

The worst jobs I ever tackled on a car were both on my old chevy. Removing and repairing the accessory vacuum tank which required the power brake booster and master cylinder, steering column, brake pedal, lower dash trim and driver seat to be removed. The booster mounts high up under inside dash and the two upper mount bolts are removed and installed by feel. The driver seat is removed because you have to lie on your back to get our hands up under the dash. Can't imagine what a shop would charge for that mess.
The second was the removal of the rear differential. Not like an ordinary diff, it is mounted down from the top crossmember and is removed together as one piece. All three drive shafts, the transverse rear spring, rear shocks and strut positioning rods must be removed. All this just to replace a cracked rear diff cover.
GM engineers must have been smoking a lot of crazy shite back then.

You should tear into a John Deere IVT transmission. I’m still finding random pieces of that damn thing in my shop.

A random rattle somewhere in the back and when you have a helper sot back there to find it doesn't rattle. Next day its back and you are alone in car again.

Heater cores aren’t hard. Tedious, but not hard.

Get a Jeep. You will learn the fix for this is to just get a better radio/speaker system.

Finding and silencing the phantom rattling noise under the dashboard.

The exhaust manifold, you'll never get one off without breaking off at least one stud.
