No Steve, that was actually correct.

The word that person used describes the pleasurable physiological response. A verb.

The word you used describes the fluids involved. A noun.

Thanks for taking that sarcastic remark to heart.

I was seriously joking about ordering this book. I read the 50-SOG series and the story was interesting but the other stuff seriously did nothing for me. I like the classics and Jane Austen is one of my favorite authors.

Women love erotica...the written word sensually crafted can make their hearts pound and their loins long far more than some vulgar assault on the genitals.

Reading the words they imagine themselves in the story, bodies being played by deft fingers that want their very soul...

Wait...what? Why would a woman reading some fantasy book be an issue? Mine hasn't shown any interest in reading them but it certainly would not test my manhood if she did.

The mileage of others clearly varies though...

it's more the sharing of parts of the books with their little girlfriends all over FB that has my attention. If a woman were to read books, get horny and want to frick, that would be one thing. It's the sharing of the stories and parts of the stories on Social media that i'm talking about.

Most of them are far worse when talking to one another in private. Women get way more graphic than men.

Good: your SO reads these books and you enjoy a nice uptick in bedroom activity, freakiness, etc.

Bad: you don't. :/

Which means...

I personally think it's stupid, and seems like a way for people who aren't well-read to act like they are.

That said, whatever gets your rocks off..

I loved her as a kid, but I cannot stand her works now. Very "white people problems"-esq.

I don't think reading fire-crotch novels counts as high literature...but there's nothing stupid about well written erotica. It fulfills a need.

When the wifey was ready 50 Shades of Grey, I noticed a freaky side in the bedroom that I had not seen in a while.
Both her boyfriend and the mailman also noticed.

Just not my style. Whatever works though :)

I guess I've enjoyed detailed sexting, so I'm not far off

This isn't new. They just stopped calling them "romance novels." If you ever read one of those, they are mostly detail depicting porno books.
