I know exactly how they work. Trump made a bunch of lofty promises to his supporters and now that he's been elected he's completely shite the bed on every single one of them. He scammed them and they won't be able to exchange this shitty product for another 4 years

Not sure if it's a scam....but I don't buy anything that is pitched over the phone via telemarketer out of principle.

Rodan & Fields - unless you're at the top of a pyramid. There are some making big bucks but a lot of disillusioned women as well.

The worst scams going on are the ones targeting the elderly. Retirees get phone calls from a wide spectrum of scammers. My 80+ year old parents got one this week from someone saying he was their oldest grandson on Spring Break and he was running fever of 102 degrees and thought he might need to go to the doctor.
They get them from people saying claiming to be from Microsoft saying their computer has a virus.
They get them from people claiming to be a doctor's office saying their health insurance isn't going to cover the last test they had and they need payment.
If one stays on the phone long enough with them, they all ask for credit cards.
The number for the guy that called saying he was a grandson showed up as 1-000-000-0000. The local police can't track any of them down.
My mom still has an excellent mind, but lots of old people don't. I'm sure lots of other TD's posters' parents or grandparents get a lot of the same calls. The bad guys must work from medicare lists of some type. If they are working off of some type of list that legitimate businesses are selling them those businesses need to be identified and chastised for selling the list.
I don't wish Hell on anyone, but this kind of scum deserves it as much as any drug dealer or thief.

I hate those scammers.
I always pretend to fall for it so I can waste their time. It's entertaining too, but my primary motive is to run interference and keep them away from real victims.

I wasn't saying your were retarded, you must have missed my point, but on the other hand I can see how it could have been taken the way you did.

Climate change is the biggest con game out there.

This was brought up a few times, but I don't understand how climate change is a con game? Climate change does happen, it has always happened and I have to think that with all the waste put in the air from chemical plants, etc.. It has to have some effect. Maybe not as bad as some want us to believe, but I think there are sides whose best interest is for people to think it is a lot worse than it is and other sides whose best interest is for people to think everything is fine, no harm done, etc.
But climate change is something that inevitable.
