LMAO, DFW is just one big stretch of never ending highway construction. Unless you are a first generation cowboy you won't fit with the culture in Fort Worth, and the food is absolutely garbage.

Dude, central Florida is the a-hole of the universe. Like the Riveria sans beaches. I'll admit there are some decent spots in Lakeland, and obviously Winter Park is one of the best kept secrets in the country, but otherwise...hot, humid, poverty.

East Coast: West Palm to St. Aug
West Coast: ~Venice to ~Lutz
Anything North, South, or inland is a hard pass.

. I wish I could give you more than one downvote.

Garden District New Orleans.

If forced to live in Baton Rouge, the Garden District there as well.

Otherwise don't live in LA.

Right? If they don't pull for the same team as you, and it bothers you, then maybe just don't hang out with them while watching football.

That’s sad that you, your family members and friends only think of Bourbon Street and Tiger Stadium when they think of Louisiana.

That’s like 95% of the country too. Not just. This person’s family members.. that’s all the state has from a national perspective. Be lucky we have that.

I know there are some great places to live in the greater Orlando area besides Winter Park - but I'm not sure I could ever live there.

I will say that UCF is probably Top 5 on any legitimate list of party schools.

Ill summarize

60% of OT - Somewhere that's majority White
35% of OT - Texas or different state that's not Louisiana (To be a smartass)
5% of OT - Highest crime area you can think of (To show the out of state smartasses what a real smartass looks like)

Most of Livingston is like 90% plus white. There’s not many places I’d live in LP.. it’s not white.. it’s honest, trustworthy, friendly people who work for their money that take care of their property and everything around them. Also, these people are invested in good public schools. It’s not our fault most of the people who fall under these categories are white.. tell others to do better

I agree. I wish more and more people would realize this and stop leaving cities to rot instead of cleaning them up and fixing problems. the easy solution is run away. It’s a national trend and it’s annoying.

The best place to live in Louisiana is wherever you grew up. You only have one hometown

Ever since WW2, it seems that American culture has basically been to wander around and move to wherever you can make the most $$$.

Pretty sad. I wish I still lived in the same small town that my family has lived in for generations.
