Induction is electric and is also the correct answer.

GE Profile is good.

If one is going electric and wants the best range/cooktop induction is the way to go unless you don't have and don't want compatible cookware.

When we were looking a couple of years ago the LG Studio series was the top rated just ahead of GE Profile.

I just completely renovated my kitchen this past summer and went with GE for my stove, oven, and microwave. It’s only been less than a year but so far, not a single complaint.

I’m sure I’m jinxing myself with this post.

I've been very happy with all of the Frigidaire products I've bought.
My last house had the induction cooktop and it was truly amazing. However, you would need to ensure you have induction cookware as well.
My new house had a shite oven and cooktop. Fridgiare is literally being delivered tomorrow.
GE is reliable.

Do not listen to anyone who says they are all the same. Avoid Amana and Samsung no matter what.

Good luck!

The “GAS” ones

We have gas at the house and "settled" for induction at the camp because the neighborhood doesn't have NG and we didn't want to deal with propane. Over the years both of us agree we don't really care which we cook on. In fact, we have a single burner induction cooktop we use all the time at home sitting right beside the gas cooktop because boiling water is amazingly fast.
