I was born in 1990, I notice a huge difference between me and my sister and her friends who were born in 1994.

So? She's a girl who is younger than you. Y'all are separate people. Of course there're differences. There are differences within every generation. Millenials aren't unique.

Hey, I'm born in 1980 but man I'm really patriotic so I'm claiming the WWII generation. My grandma on the other hand who was born in 1926, she never was overly patriotic so I'll put her with the Baby Boomers. My dad is a Roman history buff so frick it he identifies with the Romans from 70-95AD.

I guess it's different within my family because I had brothers who were born in 78 that I grew up with.

I'm more closely related to them than to my sister's generation.

ETA: That and I grew up in a poorer family so shite was a lot different than most of the entitled millenials

Here's what I consider a millenial:
Where you old enough to get drunk in 2000 and Y2K was a valid concern at your age?
If yes: were u born in 1980 or after?

If yes, u prob a millenial

I still remember when Pizza Hut or dominos still used to put those little plastic pieces in the middle of the pizza box so it wouldn't get crushed.

If you grew up with the internet you're probably a millineal. I was born in 82 but my parents didn't have internet till I moved out. I didn't get an email a count till 2002 and didn't get a cell phone till a little later when I was 20 years old.

My Pizza Hut still does this.

Sorry, I agree with the others.

If you always knew what the internet was;
if you never did duck and cover at school;
if you had a cordless house phone;
if you don't remember watching the Challenger explosion live...

You're a millennial.

My biological grandparents were part of the Greatest Generation, but no one would have given them person of the year awards. Generations aren't just about mindsets and attitudes.

88 is prime time millennial too

I am 90 and accepted my fate but the 1980 to 2000 is just stupid. It should be something like 84-94.

Not true. I was born in 80, always knew what the internet was, had a cordless as soon as it was available, and i am not a millenial.

yall can't be serious with this! "Millennials" is at the VERY LEAST 1990 and on. At a minimum, and it's probably even later than that.

I'm 30, I was born in 85, I share very little in common with the millennial generation. There's no way a 32 year old (referencing the year above) is a millenial.

Millennials (also known as the Millennial Generation or Generation Y) are the demographic cohort following Generation X. There are no precise dates when the generation starts and ends; most researchers and commentators use birth years ranging from the early 1980s to the early 2000s.

I'd put the first year as 1992.

By the time you could think on your own, the Internet was already an established thing.

To think that 32 year olds aren't millennials? Yeah, I guess so.
