The national bird should have been the turkey.
The bald eagle it’s nothing but a scavenger, thug POS.

If protecting our National Parks isnt something that everyone can agree on, Idon't see much hope in anything else.

I totally agree.

But I also believe ALL of our public lands should be protected. frick drilling in sacred areas. frick drilling in wilderness areas. This is the land of the free. The moment we let oil companies drill for oil is the moment we lose our freedom to roam.

They're pretty badass hunters. Great at fishing.

This is different. The tribes are pretty good about protecting their land, so it’s a win win.

The Blackfeet here are trying to create their own national park on the boundary of East Glacier.

Damn someone needs to tell the one that fishes in my front yard all the time.

Birds of prey, or raptors, include species of bird that primarily hunt and feed on vertebrates that are large relative to the hunter. Additionally, they have keen eyesight for detecting food at a distance or during flight, strong feet equipped with talons for grasping or killing prey, and powerful, curved beaks for tearing flesh. The term raptor is derived from the Latin word rapio, meaning to seize or take by force.

Gobble Gobble bitch.

It's funny you mentioned "sacred land." The natives here are trying to stop all development in the Tongass including recreational access. They've been educating the white dude about their sacred lands.

Except that they've clearcut most of the land the gubment gave them through ANSCA.

Oops. That sacred land
