I've never heard anyone critique her, except in this thread, which is the usual OT BS. She's a superb athlete, beautiful woman and an incredible ambassador for LSU. I expect her to be in broadcast journalism one day.

Now the persecution complex of many Christians is quite normal, almost prevalent, and laughable. Smacks of projection.

No, she was persecuted for blaming other people for her choices.

BTW, who does him refer to?

She was the second best goalie on a bottom half SEC team. I wouldn't call her athletic abilities superb.

No shite Sherlock! When a very young adult turns to God, do you think it's because they are Holy and well adjusted? Don't fool yourself, NO ONE turns to God until they have exhausted Every other option. No exceptions.

Get off your high horse and go explore the rest of your options, your day is coming.

You can fill in almost any group and this statement makes sense. It's like victim mentality mad-libs

Now the persecution complex of many African Americans is quite normal, almost prevalent, and laughable.

Now the persecution complex of many rednecks is quite normal, almost prevalent, and laughable.

Truth! However, Christians are the majority around here, and seem to spout it more than the other groups you've listed.

Probably has something to do with this forum being 95% white, 80% middle class or student, and 75% Christian

Yeah, I get that she's not being executed or imprisoned for her faith, but if you think one must in order to be persecuted, then include yourself in the definition of "some people."

Said Catholics shouldn't be watching 50 Shades of Gry on Saturday and then sit in a church on Sunday.

There's that fine line between saturday night and sunday morning. 50 shades is not what people ought to be concerning themselves with

I don't think anonymous people on an internet forum making less than complimentary remarks about someone qualifies as persecution.

I completely disagree. I wouldn't want anyone on here talking about me at all, and some of the things said about her are downright nasty.

What's being said about her that she didn't imply in her own blog?
