Can bumps bend the frame of a truck?

Making fun of a Tundra?

You best have your MIL start your car the next few days.

Yes, under extreme stress. That was one of the selling points of Rams. A complete box frame. It was supposed to be better than the C channel frames of Chevy and Ford.

Not really making fun. Just asking what causes that kind of bending in a big, tough pickup.

It looks like a plucked guitar string.

I don’t think the Ford F-250 does that.

I can't speak to the frame integrity of the Tundra, but just laying hands on the box itself, I thought it was thin.

I know they can take a rearend lick from a drunken state worker in Baton Rouge who had $2000 cash in his glovebox.

Drunk drivers suck arse.

F-250 frames are next level in torsional rigidity.

That's probably why they are quieter than a Lexus (even the 6.7) at highway speeds.

The front end does it. It's called the death wobble in Fords. At least the driver doesn't lose control in the Toyota video.
