IT doesnt roll anything. The top shaft is merely a shaft with a large gear on it. The magic happens in the lower section. The big gear ratio makes it possible to generate high RPM's on the lower section without having to spin the handle fast.


There are no openings or doors. Closed system

The large metal thing inside rotates and is probably a block of copper. The clamps on either side at one time held the two ends of horseshoes magnets. Pretty cool piece of machinery, I'm sure you could sell it to someone who's into antique industrial things.

It still cranks really well. Don't care about selling it, just couldn't figure out what the thing was. Thought it was some sorta printer thing. Thanks my man
