worm food. Once the formaldehyde or glutaraldehyde finally loses it's strength - usually 6 to 8 weeks - the worms will start eating the beef jerky left on your bones. Then you will be a nice skeleton laying in your 3,000 to 5,000 casket - believe me the worms will get in there.

Just like any other form of carbon life on this planet we will die and that's it. What makes people think that humans are so special that we get a paradise to live in after death? If you think we are so divine then read some history books or watch the news sometimes. We are some of the vilest animals to ever walk this planet.

The state gets everything if you do not have a will when you die.

first question i must ask is are you going through something something that you think you may lose your life over?
No one can tell you the answer you are looking for, you should know that it is all about YOUR faith and not someone else's. The only people who know what happens after death can't tell you about it.
As a christian, being a good person is great, but it is believing in God that gets you into the gate of heaven.
No one on this board will be able to answer the "greatest question humanity has ever faced"
If you believe in God, why are you doubting your faith?

You'll immediately go to heaven or hell based on weather your soul is saved or not saved. Your body will die but the spirit and soul never dies

It's the great unknown.
Make the most of your life down here.

Interesting Thread topic.Especially since I'm 55.A lot closer to death than birth.
A 85 year old friend of my Mothers almost died a couple of weeks back.Daughter found her on the toilet.Unresponsive.BP was 80/40.
1st thing I wanted to know is if she remembered any of it.The only thing she recalled was hearing her daughter calling to her from far off. So,not much.
I kind of think that DMT is responsible for a lot of the near-death experiences.
I will say that as you get older your fear of death diminishes.

I hope there is something more. My mom died of a massive heart attack on Monday. She and my dad had barely survived the floods here in Denham and lost everything.
We came to bring them back to California to live with us. She died before she got the chance. I miss her so much. I have to believe that she is no longer in pain, she has no more worries and she's in heaven with her friends getting ready to help the Tigers to a win over Bama and a national championship.

Time is infinite, there is no beginning, and there is no end
That's just patently false, both logically and scientifically. One cannot transverse an actual infinite. If time reached back infinitely, we never could have arrived to today. Also, the sun would have died an infinite amount of time ago and our planet would no longer exist. According to science, all time and space began at the Big Bang.

people should know when our body finally realizes we are dying it releases a chemical named DMT into your brain. You can look this up, it's an actual drug you can get your hands on but the people who have taken are changed forever. You basically see dead or what technically happens after/during death.
Uhhh...not even close. It's a 15-30 minute long acid trip basically. What kinda shite you been taking?

Thanks. This thread just brought up what we've been thinking. My mom and dad's faith has never wavered. I have always questioned mine. But I want my mom to be at peace finally. She's had some very difficult times.

Wow.God Love you NoHo.So sorry to hear that.
You Mom sounds a lot like mine who just turned 80.She is such a servant or steward of the Lord that I have to believe they will be rewarded for their un-waivering faith.

Well, I have a sister that just passed away less than six hours ago after spending over two weeks in hospice. She no longer suffers. I can't help but wonder if there's not a sort of consciousness of leaving this world when one passes.
