It was a couple of days ago...stupid bitches on The View were talking about the Miss America contest. For the talent portion, Miss Colorado (a nurse) wore scrubs & did a monologue about nursing. The women on the View kind of made fun of her and one wondered why she was wearing a doctor's stethoscope.
After getting reamed by all the nurses out there, they "apologized" by saying their comments were miscontrued or something like that.
I never watch The View because it's just a bunch of catty women I don't care about gossiping and babbling about bullshite. But I did watch the videos of the original comments and their non-apology. IMO, nobody should really take them seriously anyway.

Why does this board hate nurses so much....it's like insta-troll. Start a thread about tattoos, cops, teachers, trashiness or California and you are guaranteed to get a ton of hate posts. It's bizarre.

Nah, they only get ripped as slutty and physician gold diggers . I think people respect their work ethic and they are way higher on the totem pole here than teachers, cops, lawyers, MLM peddlers, etc.

The banging md thing is an urban myth. Most mds are old, egotistical and broke from their 3 ex wives. Of my current coworkers-1hooking up with a hand glider, male RN, mechanic and tech from OR.

Nah. MDs are far smarter than me. I have worked with some amazing physicians and I am happy knowing my place....I just haven't met one I would bang :)
