Yes, he was at Fox8 but I believe he was fired. I only know this because my mom works at a beauty salon and one of the clients worked at the station and while sitting in the chair, he received a phone call that he was fired.

He is a good guy. I like him a lot, and the station needs that local personality who knows how NOLA ticks.

Her husband was ex special forces if I remember right. Moved to DC. Probably a defense contractor.

Fun fact:

David Tyree worked at KATC in the 1980's and early 1990's. I can also recall when he moved to New Orleans at first on WVUE-TV and then went to WWL Radio as the main host that came on after Rush Limbaugh. He also famously called Rush to complain about Rush's stance on homosexuality, I believe because he was a pole smoker.
