They actually have a pretty great work boot that they make.

I had a pair like Capt,most uncomfortable boots/shoes I ever wore.Must have been just my feet,lot people liked them.

I still wear birkenstocks during the summer. I started wearing them at LSU when it was hot in the 90s and have owned a pair ever since.

I got a pair of Birkenstock Bostons (the potato looking ones) with the shearling lining last winter. They are like Uggs without the ghey.

Based on another post in here I looked it up and they are all made in Thailand and China now. After their popularity waned they were forced to shift production. That kind of sucks.

Had a pair of Doc work boots w/steel toes in black and they were the most comfortable I've ever had. Currently wearing Red Wings as I couldn't find another pair of the Doc's when mine got trashed with mud.
