Breaux Bridge is not really known for alligator (maybe Lake Martin, Henderson but not Breaux Bridge). And it is sacrilegious to claim any other place on this earth besides BB is know for crawfish...so I have no clue where you're from using the process of deduction.

Cool

I was born in VA and moved to Louisiana at 9. After graduation I moved to Chattanooga and have been here for 11 years. None of my family lives in Louisiana anymore.

Chattanooga is my home town.

I think you're interpreting hometown differently than everyone else. Your hometown is where you grew up. Where you're at now is where you live.

Barqs is most definitely a Biloxi thing

Since when the frick is "Biloxi Shrimp Boil" a thing?

I'm from the coast. I'd say if you had to pick a food item that it would be known for it's Catalina Dressing on Pizza. You could also make an argument for either flounder or soft shell crab.

I consider my hometown where I spent my formative and coming of age years. Feel like it’s weird to have to explain it, one knows where their hometown is. It’s a gut thing
