I miss:
Good boudin (Jerry Lees)
Boiled crabs (even getting live to boil)
Good grilled Gulf seafood at a good price
Middendorfs

I actually had Canes yesterday. I maybe have it once a year out here(even though there is one 15 minutes away from me).



Like others said...it's not as great as it was.


Now back when I lived on campus in the late 90s and could get a box with drink for $5(including tax)...that's when it was awesome.

Good Boudin and Cracklings. Can't find anything worth wild in Houston. Also hard to get andouille sausage fron Louisiana here too. Only certain HEB and Krogers carry any. All they usually have is the Texas junk.

The increased price and supposedly smaller tenders don't bother me

Every fast food place's prices have gone up

Yeah the whopper at Burger King was .99 in the 90's, I bet it costs more than that now

I found a place out here. Old guy from New Orleans that set up shop in Phoenix. He has a small place. Opens here as soon as the temps get in the 70s. Legit snowballs.
