I'm kinda crazy about that stuff. I was randomly buying it by the large Styrofoam cup for a while.

Surprisingly enough you can find good crawfish here in Houston. It is hard though. Over here there are a lot of vietnamese seafood shops that cook it and bring it to your table in a clear plastic bag with your selected seasoning be it cajun, lemon pepper, garlic butter, etc and you can choose your spice level. However, I think they mostly get their crawfish from overseas. We do get a ton trucked in from Louisiana and southeast Texas crawfish farms. The good stuff this year was 6.99 /lb.
The best stuff I have had in Texas is from the Crawfish Shack in Crosby, TX. It is a brutal drive from west Houston though.

I brought back a cooler full of food from Tony's in BR on my last trip through. Really miss that place.
Also grabbed some boxes of assorted things from Ambrosia.
I have yet to find good jambalaya in W. Houston. Hopefully this thread will point me in the right direction.
Too many good things in NO to make a list.
I really miss the LA food.

Really? Good to hear. Saw it being built on my way to work everyday and have yet to try it
I'm assuming its kid friendly. Also a new chicken tenders place opened next to Olive Garden on Preston and gaylord.

Jambalaya isn't something that translates well to a restaurant
