Oxycodone, hydrocodone and fentanyl, methadone and buprenorphine are basically synthetic forms of heroin. So a ton of us have take heroin at some point in our lives.

Also if you are on buprenorphine you are still on a heavy dose of "heroin" but you aren't a functional idiot. It's much better than being an injecting heroin addict but you are still addicted.

They're both the worst. Meth will just wreak havoc on you body from the shite chemicals in it. Heroin is "cleaner" but will have you physically dependent in no time. The withdrawals from heroin was without a doubt, the single worst experience of my life. You dont get that with meth. It is purely psychological.
I'd say heroin is probably more dangerous as far as it is "easier" to OD on. Although once you jump to injecting either one, every time you stick yourself, you are playing with fire there.

Heroin is much worse. It is easier to OD on heroin and it is extremely addictive and hard to stop using. It physically changes your body and the withdrawals of stopping are pretty terrible.

This has been tried in the past as well. In the early 2000's, I had 2 friends that were put on this experimental implant treatment and watched one of them cut it out of his arm with a pocket knife. The other guy supposedly did the same but I did not see that.
It is horrifying the lengths an addict will go to to get high.

I watched a study on TV once. They had 4 or 5 different types of drug users. They were each given some simple tasks to do while high. The heroin users were able to do the tasks just like someone who wasn't high. The other types of drug users were not able to do the tasks efficiently or at all.

heroin Kills more I would think. I lost my nephew two years ago, he was mid 30’s and was trying to get his life back together but just couldn’t get away from it

The extent of my knowledge is watching breaking bad, in which they make Heroin seem way worse.
