As far as danger to others Meth because of the psychotic episodes it cause. Heroin users really only endanger someone else if they are driving.

That's the thing, I never heard of someone ODing on meth, but have know people who OD'd and died from heroin and know people who have been fighting heroin addiction for year.

But speaking of addiction. One of my old bosses was in Vietnam. He told me this guy he became friends with ended up getting addicted to heroin. With about a month left of his tour he hid out under his bed.. He didn't want to go home and his parents see him as an addict. He said for about 2 weeks he had withdrawals.

When he was getting ready to go home he told my old boss that of all the drugs he did and was able to stop using there was one thing he could not kick... Cigarettes.

Why not Coke?
