So broke my nose when I was pretty young and have broken it a couple more times since then. Aesthetically it isnt that bad but it impedes my breathing and messes with my sinuses. As I am getting older it also has me worried about developing sleep apnea. Anyone with any experience in getting a nose job? I have been thinking a ENT Dr. would be better to go to over a plastic surgeon.

I went the ENT route but I was living in Tulsa at the time. Been almost 10 years and I went from about 1 sinus infection a month before and can count on one hand how many I've had since. I'm been wondering lately if it's starting to reverse itself though. 2 weeks post op was absolute shite.

ENT. Had mine fixed in college. Deviated septum and they said 90% blockage in right side. First week after surgery was awful. After that it got tons better each day. Pulling the packing out was some of the worst pain I've ever experienced.

Most plastic surgeons don't use packing anymore, so the most painful part has been taken away. The stufiness and congestion the week after surgery is pure misery though.

I have my final visit tomorrow to figure out what will work best but the options seem down to burning a a hole through the damaged area or if you are lucky a stint.

Where are you located?

I work with a great ENT who specializes in septoplasty, endoscopic sinus stuff, and cosmetic facial procedures.

Real nice guy and a very good surgeon. Look up dr. Graham at Ochsner New Orleans.
