Communist atheistic socialist fascism. Plain and simple. And 100% funded by my tax dollars.

That's a good one too. I forgot it as well, but I'm not normally in the car when it's on.

On the next hour of Morning Edition, we will have a renowned Harvard professor to discuss his findings from a new scientific study showing an inverse relationship between hypothetical shite eaten and intelligence quotient. Please stay tuned and thank you for listening to Morning Edition.

There is literally nothing to support this.

Want to back up that statement that 100% of their programming comes from tax dollars?

As someone else said, people that say NPR is nothing but liberal bullshite have never listened to it. One of my favorite of their programs is Intelligence^2, where they present a statement on an issue, take experts (not random shmucks) from two sides of the issue and have an organized debate. The ones on the 2nd Amendment and affirmative action were excellent.

I enjoy NPR but haven't listened to it in a while. I just can't take the old lady who talks very slowly and takes forever to pronounce words. It's unbearable to listen to no matter how interesting the guest or subject matter. I have to believe she's either dead or retired by now.

The Diane Rehm Show isn't bias?

There are some good things on NPR but to say it is unbiased is preposterous

Love NPR. The news reporting is the least biased available. Guests espouse their opinions, but the reporters do not.

Best audio shows available, entertainment value rivaling a lot of TV.

Ask me Another is great.

Wait Wait is great.

Selected Shorts is great.

The list goes on.

"Wait, Wait...Don't Tell Me" is great. Been going through a bunch of old episodes of "This American Life" too. Makes the workday more bearable.

Who exactly is unbiased? Fact is, they have interesting and engaging stories and programming. You can make up your own damn mind on an issue. Whatever happened to that?

Sure, they have a fair amount of liberal editorial opinions in there, but I find the reporting itself to be fair and informative.

And their non-political programming is awesome.

Everything has bias, but when I listen to NPR, I feel like the propaganda is less in my face than what I have seen on CNN or Fox News. It also seems like a generally less up to the minute service than those though.

Or point out they are claiming to be unbiased when they are not, and are spending tax dollars to promote an agenda
