The highball is ridiculous because the liquor will do more to melt the ice than the container will
This is what I was thinking as well. The ambient temperature + alcohol and/or carbonation of whatever you're pouring into the glass is going to do a LOT more to melt the ice than the air temperature.

I would rather a $0.17 styrofoam cup to keep my coffee warm.
You can get 1000 styrofoam cups for $25. Lets say you purchase that much in bulkj (where you keep them, thats up to you). They will run out in just under 3 years if you one cup a day. So, a 1 time purchase of 25$ for a cup that will work better is an economically sound purchase. So, your quip about your cheap styrofoam cups actually makes you look like a complete idiot.

Plus, environment and stuff bro.

I will stick to those insulated Dixie cups when drinking whiskey outside or while tailgating. If I am at home I am drinking my whiskey out of a glass.

To me the Yeti cup key is the lid. Contrary to belief among YETI aficionados, they didn't invent the insulated stainless cup. But the lid is where they've gotten a huge edge (other than the branding, obviously). Klean Kanteen, for example, had the Rambler years before Yeti, but the lid is trash.
I want to try the corksicle cups to see how they compare.

Don't be a pussy and drink a 10 oz drink!
Well considering the fact that I enjoy a lower glass a 10 ounce is a nice size. I just have 16 of them instead.
And the only lowballs I've seen are my grandpa's when he cut himself out of his waders to take a shite in the marsh next to the duck blind. Now HE was drinking a 20 ounce.

Is $25 too much for a cup? What do you think when you see young professionals at the tailgate with these?
I would assume they were at the bottom of thier field by making poor business decisions as evidenced by hese glases.

I bet they are great---I'd buy them!

I switch to whiskey in the winter. I drink from a low ball glass. A buddy bought me one. I must admit it's damn nice.

Just got one. Great cup for coffee at work. Keeps coffee hot for a long time. Also good for drinking cold drinks.

I guess i need to stop that and hand wash.
I noticed that the scramblers are not dishwasher safe...any idea why they can't go in the dishwasher?
I don't mind hand washing, but I can easily see it getting put in the dishwasher by someone else in the house without thinking.
I wonder what the dishwasher does to it????
