What Does Hennessey Taste Like?

I see it behind the bar, but never see any of my fellow honkies going for it.
What does it taste like?
Best by itself or should I mix it with something?
Should I call it "hen" or "henny" when ordering it?

Had some on my honeymoon a decade ago. I had never tasted jet fuel before, but i would imagine it tastes like Hennessey.

It's a cognac and should be drank as an after dinner drink. It is essentially a desert drink.

Pour about a shot into a cup and warm it in the micro. Then dunk an ice cream Sammich in it. When finished with said Sammich, shoot the remaining shot.

I wouldn't say it's nasty. It's a brandy. It's aged in oak barrels like a bourbon, so I guess you could say they're similar.

Brandy is made from grapes in the same process bourbon is made from corn.
For brandy to be a "cognac" it is supposed to be made in the Cognac region of France.
