I've drank plenty of things I wasn't exactly the biggest fan of. shite I got hammered on Canadian mist a week or two ago.
shite I also got completely annihilated on a couple bottles of free port wine over tales of the cocktail recently. And I'm usually only a one glass type o' guy

Tastes like what you mix it with, the most popular choices in my 50 year experience in the Bar business are Dr Pepoer and Diet Sprte dead heat.

No. It's a bullshite, adolescent ethnic jab......
Hennessy is simply a brandy. I've had Louis and various other high end Cognacs and while I'd prefer other after dinner options, they are beautifully made.

I've actually had a glass of Remy Martin Louis XIII at Ruth's Chris. That's probably the most cliche drink at the most cliche restaurant, but the meal was being comped so ordered 1 oz for $150.
I'd drank cognac before, but nothing high end. That Remy Martin smelled like it would catch fire at any moment, but it was, by far, the smoothest sip of alcohol I've ever had. It was unbelievable, but I wouldn't pay $150 for it a second time around.

I've had Louis Trey as well and was left very unimpressed.
I had some 100 year old grand mariner though that was incredible.

I'm not a connoisseur, and I only had 1 oz, but it was pretty tasty IMO.
It was disheartening to think that I probably left $5 worth of residual alcohol in the snifter.
