What does cancelling entertainment outlets do?

Other than make us all miserable when other shite isnt shut down? If 20 people cant meet up in an empty gym and play a basketball game why the frick is anything still open? Either keep life moving or go all in. Half assing it will only serve to make us all more miserable while we wait for the new plague to wipe us out if it really is that bad.

Do you really not see the difference between 20 guys playing at the YMCA, and 20,000 people at Smoothie King?

Starting to change your stance from making fun of "all the mouth breathers sitting in their bunkers" huh?
Posted on 3/14/20 at 5:46 pm to TigerChief10
It pisses you off. That is worth it

I don’t understand how you don’t understand the answer to your question. It’s not complicated at all
What others sorts of simple things give you this much confusion?

You really think those 20,000 people are sitting at home and not exploring other forms of entertainment?
All you are doing is altering where the virus is transmitted
ETA: You can down vote away, mention the stupid curve thing, but in reality unless you go all in, all you are simply doing is creating fear. And now we have grocery stores full of people touching the same things to buy up shite they don’t need.and to make things worse, people are going to start losing money over this bull shite

Are you really that slapdick retarded? I'm obviously going with the no crowd scenario. I understand limiting 20k people in one area. But 20-30 healthy guys who would barely even know they had the damn thing should be able to keep playing. Just dont let any old people around them til this blows over.

Sure, they might be, but the point is to minimize being in close quarters with people.
So...if most of us can just do that for a bit, then maybe this fricking thing stops spreading, and we can all get back to normal.
This really isn't a difficult concept...and I think the whole fricking thing is waaaaaaaay overblown, but I get why they are doing it.

Yeah keep the malls and subways open and all other public areas but dont let 20-30 guys play basketball or hockey in an empty arena. It's incredible how you dont understand you're the idiot.

You cant even provide a retort. You know it's true. Those guys will now come in contact with more people than they would have had they just kept the teams in close quarters with each other and had them play in empty gyms.

Aside from the horrible optics of letting athletes play together and having them all get sick a week later? There’s no money in playing a season in an empty arena.

Says the guy amassing downvotes with his breakthrough topic. You’re right, you clearly have it all figured out and everyone else is wrong

You’re this worked up about a pickup basketball game with a bunch of fat white dudes?
Go play in an outdoor pavilion ya frickin snowflake.

You're missing my point on this.
I agree with you...it's way fricking overblown and out of control. I've had to deal with it acutely everyday for the last couple of weeks. It's a bunch of hype and fear mongering that is causing everyone to freak the frick out.
But...
It has now fricked with the economy, and that cannot happen.
SOOOOOOOOO...
If everyone can do their part to stay the frick away from each other for a bit, and if this REMOTELY helps to stop the spreading of the shite so we can all get back to normal...
THEN JUST frickING DO IT.

So panic stricken shoppers packing stores across the nation is any better? Get the frick out of here.

So we don't overwhelm the health care system in a short time span. You want to be hospitalized in a tent?

I don't care to retort to folks that are not on my intelligence level, or those that I don't care about.
Good day, sir.
