To the young'ens, it's what a baseball hat is susposed to look like. Hell, I remember people would fold theirs into a triangle when I was younger, and that looked stupid too.

I'm pretty sure at one point (late 80s/early 90s) my bill was shaped like a house.

I look forward to the day when men wear jackets and fedoras. When sagging pants are punishable by public flogging and cigarettes are allowed on airplanes.

When I was growing up, the curved bill baseball hat was the trend, and everyone wore hats with curved bills

But apparently what is in these days are flat billed hats with no bend at all. Everyone does this, from middle school kids to high school and even at the college level. At first it was mainly black people that did this like rappers but now it is more prevalent with white kids especially upper class whites.

I consider the bill of someone's cap as a brain wave indicator.....

Curved Bill - Brain wave activity

Flat Bill - No Activity

Also you can't properly wear sunglasses with a super bent bill. So it actually makes sense.

Hated it.

Loathed it.

Gave in.

Bought 2 flat bills.

Honestly think they look classier now with casual clothing as opposed to the older curves bill unless you're wearing saggy pants and gold chain.

I see curved bill hats and the immediately look like NASCAR, manual labor, hunting, fishing, etc. Nothing wrong with that but I will wear my flat Braves or OKC Redhawks hat to some nice events then I would wear a hat that's curved and looks redneck.

You're joking right?

I certainly support your right to dress however you want, but I've never seen a flat bill wearer I could describe as "classy looking." It's nearly impossible to look classy wearing a hat at all.

Ask the next attractive sub-30 female you meet which they prefer and get back to me.

Most will say Flatter bills. Is what it is my man.

This is true. I was speaking in relative terms. I think that the New Era 59's look classier then the '47 Twins cloth hats that the bills curve.

Saying curved hats were a trend is like saying shoes with laces are a trend.

Only time I think flat bills were acceptable was when the Babe Ruth and those guys were sporting them.

Flat bills help with sun glasses. Why everyone hates them is beyond me.

You might be right, but IDGAF. I'm not wearing a flat bill hat for a piece of pussy.

My thoughts on this are a resounding who cares?

I've seen middle-aged guys wearing flat bills as well, and I couldn't care less.
