Choices we make

I haven't figured it out yet.

I've been a good person. My childhood was a mess because my dad was a giant dickhead who abused alcohol and drugs and women and me a few times. I worked hard and sacrificed as an adult for my family, and my wife was still a cheating whore who wrecked our marriage.

I feel like I've spent most of my life working hard to not be my dad. Sadly, my results are turning out to be mostly the same. I'm alone and wish that I had found a better partner.
