While I would not wear shoes with a bow on them, Belgian loafers can be done well. Those by Massimo Alba, however, are too effete in my opinion.

But if you like them, so be it. The more important question is how good is the quality. Do you know what kind of construction is used (looks like it might be Blake), and how nice the leather is?

I like belgian loafers. I don't own any but would like to get a pair. If you are going to get some though, go ahead and get the real deal. You can get them with out a bow if you would like and they are about $200 cheaper than those.

And Bernie Madoff had 90 pairs of them. Roughly $36,000 worth of them before tax and not considering custom orders.
