Yanny is the high frequency recorded here, which is usually lost in older age and poor hearing

I'm younger than you. I've never had issues with my hearing.

Ok

I am telling you your ears are picking up the lower frequency and not the higher one, which is usually a sign of aging and loss of hearing.

In your case maybe it isnt wonder ear boy

You read one article with a guy saying what it could be and you're now an auditory expert.

Continue reading the article. They have no clue why people hear it differently.

I have known that for years my friend.

It is pretty common knowledge. And if you want, play the recording here and turn down the frequency on your speakers, and then turn it up. You will easily be able to hear yanny and then laurel.....

This isnt very confusing really

So why did I hear it one way first then go back 30 minutes later and hear the other way? I think it’s all bs.

It’s clearly “yanny.” How does anyone hear “laurel?”

I'm listening on two little crappy computer speakers at work and I swear to God I hear both at the same time.

But I'm blind in one eye so that may have something to do with it.

Like the one you literally quoted to prove your point earlier? You'll pick and choose from the article when it's convenient.

Ffs you can still hear the L. It sounds like a muffled version of Laurel that you could stretch to say was yanny.

I await your diagnosis, ear doctor.
