Being a father of two fine men, here's my perspective:

My sons have already given me more than any dad could ever reasonably expect. Maybe your dad is content with the shared love and respect y'all have together and doesn't need or desire anything else. I very much appreciate all that my sons have given me - not just material things but the successful men they are, both personally and professionally - good men, both - that is the best present any man could ask for. I am at a point in my life where any and every day I get to spend with my sons is a bonus. It will soon be 10 years since my dad died and I was very fortunate that we spent the last 10 days of his life together - he died knowing he was loved and respected - I'm sure your dad knows the same - that is all a dad can ask.

Same rough purchase for me, sometimes I just call bc he doesn’t need/want anything. And that is enough. This year, grilling accessories.

He's gone, but I gave him all my life what he gave me. Zip.

His birthday is just a few days after Christmas but I think I’ll wait till the Saints play and win the Super Bowl this year before I place some Saints themed flowers and balloons on his grave. He would love it.

Instead of a bottle of Scotch, I got him a bottle of CBD oil for his back and knee pain. Also told him he’d get high AF. Should be interesting....

I was able to finally set up his man cave.... a buddy of mine was giving away a 57 inch TV. I picked it up and set it up in their living room. I then moved some of their other TVs around so he was able to get a nice size TV in his 'man cave' (his man cave is 2 tables... gun cleaning stuff on one and I put a tv, DVD player and cable box on the other table... I'm still trying to help him finish but he's happy right now) His hands shake really bad so trying hook the cables up and make them as neat as I did was something that may not be impossible but it is very frustrating for him.

I had planned on buying them a brand new tv for Christmas. Getting one for free may not help my OT baller status but hey.... it is what it is lol.
