Does anyone know what’s going on with the BWW on vets? They shut it down a year ago and put a fence around it like construction was supposed to happen and nothing since.

This is sort of what I thought, but it's not an issue of "density" as much as raw population numbers. I don't think NOLA metro meets their necessary criteria.

At one point it was 2 million in the metro. This was 10 years ago. May have gone up

I still contend they would do great on part as a regional store. The affordable home furniture options in the metro are are just garbage and New Orleans is also a city with a lot of old houses that would accommodate the more compact furnishings of an ikea.

One day las palapas will spread and hopefully Nola can get one. A much better Tex mex chain. Pretty sure they are only in south texas for now. Started in Laredo and spread to San Antonio and surrounding area

Pappadeaux blows because you are from Louisiana.

I am from Texas and can’t stand pappasitos. It is because regional food will always be viewed differently by people from there.

I would probably love pappasitos too if I lived in Louisiana and didn’t have access to good Mexican

Said some gentrifier not originally from New Orleans. You know,

Lulz, born and raised in mid city and still reside in the city.

Chain restaurants don’t belong in NOLA proper. Put them in JP.

Fair enough. Just read the title again. My bad.

I'm sure any palace selling fried chicken would do well.
Also sell watermelon ??, and would definitely be successful.
